You will receive your membership ID card at the store when you sign up.  You may use the card that same day and we will award the points on your transaction.

NEW: You can give your phone number at the cash, if you do not have your rewards card with you.

If you lose your card, you may get a new card by returning to the store, completing an updated form, and obtaining a new card. We can link this new card to your previous card, so you do not loose past points. You will need to wait to use your new card until they are linked.  We cannot mail cards to members or accept sign ups via phone or email.

You will receive your Rewards by either email or by postal mail depending on the method you chose when you signed up for our Program.  

We encourage our customers to use email to communicate with us about their Rewards, special promotions and other topics. We will be able to find and answer any questions you may have, more accurately, if we receive your inquiry by email. Email us at support@foodsmiths.com.

Not to mention, you will accumulate points more quickly if you choose to receive your points by email.

Information about your purchases, points, and rewards is strictly confidential and will not be shared, sold, rented, exchanged or given away under any conditions.   We respect your privacy and will protect your information with the utmost care and security.  We will not abuse the trust you've shown us by particating in our program.

Q. How do I use my new rewards card? 

A. Use your rewards card every time you shop at Foodsmiths. After you accumulate 500-700 rewards (1 reward for every dollar spent before taxes), a Rewards Card worth $10 or more (depending on how much you have spent in the period) is sent to you either by email or post mail. Print off the email and bring it, or the postcard you received, into the store to be redeemed towards your next purchase.

Q. Can I purchase less than what the reward is worth?

A. No, the credit must be used during one sale. We have no way of tracking partially used rewards. Therefore, total purchase (before tax) must be more than $10.00 or whatever the rewards card is worth.

Q. Do I need to use the Rewards Coupon before the expiry date printed on it?

A. Yes. However, with our new Rewards on-line functions, you will find that it is easier to print your rewards, and to determine whether you have already printed a reward.  You can not print rewards after their expiry date.  We have lengthened the expiry date to 6 months so you have more than sufficient  time to use your reward before it expires.

Q. Does my contact information or buying habits get sold or shared with anyone?

A. Let us assure you that any information that we have about what you buy in our store, stays with us and is never shared with anyone…we promise. We plan to use information like this from our customers for a couple of reasons: to see what our customers are buying to aid us in our decisions as to what products we stock and what products to promote, and we may use it to send you notice of items on special or send you coupons of the type that you are currently buying or may be of interest to you. It’s fairly simple & straight forward –no hidden agenda.  We believe our customers generally trust us and we plan to continue to earn that trust. In fact, we think that in this day in age, there are too many examples of broken trust in the business world and that’s how we try to be different. Of course, should you not wish to participate in our Rewards Program, all you have to do is tell us and we will take you out of the program –it’s completely your choice.
