| Pickup Policy | |
|
We will package all items available from our shelves and charge your credit card for the amount of the items plus applicable sales tax. (For more information about our Credit Card policy, please scroll down). We will send you an e-mail confirmation that your order is ready for pick up. A copy of your receipt may be required for pickup. If we do not have an item(s) on our shelves at the time of preparing your order, we will state which items are not available in our Confirmation to Pick Up e-mail. You may notify us via e-mail or at the time of pick up if you would like us to put the remaining item(s) on backorder. We will notify you of availability any extra charges that may be incurred. If your order is not picked up within 14 days of Notice for Pick Up, we will return the items to our shelf and credit your account the full amount minus a $7.50 handling fee. Please note that if you have ordered perishable products, it is your responsibility to pick up the order as soon as possible so that the items won’t spoil. If you are not able to pick up the items right away, please let us know when you will be picking them up and we will pack your order for that date. Although we will endeavour to pack the freshest perishables possible, we cannot be responsible for perishables that have spoiled because they were not picked up on the day we were told they would be picked up. |

We use Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service.
International Shipments and Air Shipments to Remote Regions in Canada & U.S. Shipping will be calculated once we receive your order and location. You will receive an e-mail with the total owing, including shipping charges, before we ship to you. Customers outside of Canada and the U.S. can pay by sending us an International Money Order for the total or use our PayPal account button, which appears as a link in our Total Amount Owing e-mail. Canadian and U.S. remote and air shipment customers can pay with VISA, Mastercard, or using PayPal. There will be a link for you to make your payment in the e-mail with total charges that we send you. We will ship your order once payment is verified. We reserve the right to refuse any order. Back Orders If we are out of stock of any product(s) which you order, we will hold the order up to 5 business days if we expect the out of stock item(s) to arrive within that time. If it is not expected to arrive, we will ship the products that we have in stock to you and only charge you for those products plus your full applicable shipping charge. The remaining product(s) that were out of stock will be shipped when they arrive, with no added shipping charges. We will notify you when we are shipping the remaining item(s) and will then charge your credit card for this item(s). |

| Sales Tax | |
| GST is applied to all shipments within Canada. Provincial Sales Tax (PST) is charged only to Ontario destinations. Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is charged instead of GST only in provinces where it is in effect; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland/Labrador. Sales taxes vary according to the category of item ordered and are calculated at the checkout. No taxes are applied by our store to destinations outside of Canada. Taxes are charged in accordance with the law and all tax collected is remitted directly to the government and is not kept by this store. | Payment Policy | |

Payment for orders will be made via your credit card upon picking and packing the order. Sales tax and shipping charges will be added if your order is being shipped to the address on your Order Confirmation. Your credit card will be charged on the day that your order is shipped. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has been shipped and your credit card charged. If your order is to be picked up at the store, we will charge your credit card at the time that the order has been packaged and ready for pickup. We will notify you via e-mail that your order is ready and that your credit card has been charged. If your order is not picked up within 14 days of Notice for Pickup, we will return the items to our shelf and credit your credit card for the amount of the order minus a $7.50 restocking charge. Payment by PayPal Canadian and U.S. Customers may use the PayPal link button at the check-out area as an optional method of paying for your order. PayPal or an International Money Order is the only payment method accepted for International Customers. When your order is received, we will e-mail you an order confirmation showing your total including shipping. Included in this e-mail will be a link for PayPal so you can pay for your order easily. As soon as we receive automatic confirmation for PayPal that you have paid for your order, or we receive your International Money Order, we will ship our order to you. Our Guarantee and Return Policy We distinguish ourselves not only by the products we sell, but with the service we provide. Foodsmiths, our suppliers, and our manufacturers, stand behind what we sell, otherwise we won’t sell it. If you are unhappy with a product you buy from us, please let us know, by e-mailing us at support@foodsmiths.com or by calling toll free 1-877-366-3437 (locally 613-267-5409). Full refunds are provided for unopened products returned to the store in person or via a return shipment no later than 60 days from date of purchase. A copy of your receipt is required with the product for a full refund. Refunds are not accepted on items returned more than 60 days from the date of purchase. Refunds may be provided for opened products returned to the store in person or via a return shipment no later than 30 days from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to deny a refund. A copy of your receipt is required for a refund. Return ship the product with a copy of your receipt. You assume responsibility for shipping the product back to Foodsmiths. We will pay to ship the replacement product to you, or other products of equal value. If you prefer a refund, we will contact you to get your credit card number to credit your account. Refunds are only granted to customers who enclose receipts. Shipping fees are non-refundable. |
