Supplements and Natural Body Care Manager – Full Time/Permanent Position

We are a seasoned team of great people who are geared up for success. We need a hands-on Natural Body Care & Supplements Manager who excels at salesmanship and inventory control, communicates well with customers, co-workers and suppliers, is very organized and understands the independent retail market.

The Natural Body Care & Supplements Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the Natural Body Care & Supplements

Your Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage the daily operations of the Supplements and Natural Body Care Department

  • Responsible for generating pricing and driving department sales and profitability

  • Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelines

  • Monitor sales and labour issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service

  • Supervision of department employees to maximize customer service, sales and profit

  • Training staff on sales techniques and product knowledge

  • Liaison with the store manager about staff and schedule requirements

  • On-going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation of employee performance reviews

  • Timely ordering of merchandise with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention

  • Develop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses

  • Create and maintain store merchandising presentations to company standards

  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, inventory, ordering and related retail administrative duties

Your Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of Natural Food/Supplements experience

  • Retail Store Management experience a must

  • Goal Oriented: you work hard and strategize in order to achieve daily, monthly and yearly sales goals.

  • A leader: you set an example for your staff by addressing and resolving all conflicts in a timely and professional manner

  • Able to work a Retail Schedule including Saturdays and at least one evening per week

  • Experience opening and closing a retail store

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi task both short term and long term goals

  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook and Point of Sale software programs

  • Positive Attitude is Key
