Started in 1976, Foodsmiths serves the local community from a 10,000+ sq. ft. facility, offering locally sourced food as well as Canadian and International brands. Our focus is as Local, Canadian, and Ethical as possible, helping people support their healthy lifestyles. Here is the perfect summing up of our company by one of our customers:

For every transaction at our cash, we donate 5¢ to our monthly charity, plus all net proceeds from paper and reusable bag sales are donated to our monthly charity, too!

Low Environmental Impact
We source bio-friendly packaging and re-use packaging to send products to our mail order customers.Low Waste Produce Dept
We donate consumable fruit, vegetables, dairy and groceries to local food banks, offer older produce to local farmers to feed their livestock, and compost.
Energy Conservation
We use energy-efficient lighting, and our hot water heating is supplemented by roof top solar panels.
