1 lb cabbage, cut into shreds
3 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp water
3 strips of bacon for garnish, optional
Melt the butter in a large pan (Dutch oven), then sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and stir well.
Add water, salt and pepper, cover with a lid. Cook for about 3 minutes. Remove the lid, stir, and cook for about 3 more minutes. Remove, add another tbsp of butter and serve. Top with bacon, if using.
