Recipe: Paleo Raw Fudge

This super easy fudge melts in your mouth like the "icy squares" you remember from childhood, but with healthy ingredients sweetened with honey.

You will need...

1 cup Maison Orphee Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
1 cup Almond Butter (from our Bulk)
1/2 cup Dark Cocoa Powder (from our Bulk)
1/4 cup Raw Highland Honey (from our Bulk)

Put it together...

Put all ingredients into your food processor, pulse the fudge mixture until it is creamy and welll mixed. At this point you can add some different flavours if you want to shake it up a bit, some I have tried are peppermint extract, orange extract, or just some raw almonds chopped in the food processor. 1/4 cup of raw almonds gives it a great crunch factor. For the liquid extracts add a few drops at a time to determine the strength you would like for your flavour profile. Coconut (1/4 cup) would be another great option.

Pour the mixture into a coconut oil greased 6" x 6" pan (a bigger pan just means a thinner piece of fudge). Store the fudge in the fridge or freezer. Because of the coconut oil the fudge has a creamy texture but it also melts fairly easily.
