Cherry Tomato Bocconcini Skewers

Ingredients

24 cherry tomatoes

24 small basil leaves

12 mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

1/4 c olive oil
-
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
-
1 garlic clove sliced
-
Salt and pepper to taste

Balsamic glaze
Directions
Combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic and bocconcini balls, stir to combine and marinate at least 30 minutes.
Wash tomatoes and basil leaves, gently pat dry. Thread a tomato onto a skewer, then a basil leaf, a bocconcini ball, basil leaf, then another tomato. Repeat.
Place on a platter, drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil and balsamic glaze. Season with salt and pepper.
Recipe Note
This also can be served as a salad.
