My exploding herb garden has truly inspired me! This easy recipe is one you will enjoy for months to come as an edible memory of summer!
1/2 lb softened unsalted butter
1/4 cup fresh chives chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
Melt 1 tbsp butter, add chives and garlic. Heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove, add salt and let cool. Add the remaining butter and mix well. Chill, roll into a log, wrap in parchment paper or plastic wrap. Freeze for up to 6 months.
So good on top of a steak, or on warm biscuits, and especially on top of potatoes! Stay tuned for more!
