Rules and regulations – Great Summer Sandal Giveaway

1. HOW TO ENTER
Buy any pair of Mephisto sandals and automatically be entered to win a free pair of Mephisto sandals. Buy any pair of Finn Comfort or Haflinger sandals and automatically be entered to win a free pair of Finn Comfort or Haflinger sandals. Upon request you may fill out a ballot with no purchase necessary to enter the giveaway.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest open to all Ontario residents.
3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES
At the end of the contest on Sunday, June 8 at store closing, on the following day, Monday, June 9, a random draw will be conducted by a Foodsmiths Marketing employee from all eligible entries received up to the previous day, during the Contest Period. The contest runs from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, closing at 5pm.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, June 9, 2025.
For each draw, the selected contestant will be contacted via phone or email. Winners should claim their prize no later than 14 days after the date they were initially contacted.
If the winner cannot be reached within 14 days following the first attempt of contact, or declines the prize, the prize shall be forfeited and Foodsmiths has the right, at its sole discretion, to select another winner.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES
Each of the 2 winners, dependent on the brand of sandals they purchased, will receive one free pair of Mephisto, Finn Comfort or Haflinger sandals. The winner can choose from a selection of sandals (commercial value of approximately up to $290.00, dependent on sandal brand and availability).
5. GENERAL RULES
•  The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Returns will not be allowed on the original purchased sandals.
•  If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Foodsmiths reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value, as determined in its sole discretion.
•  Refusal to accept the prize releases Foodsmiths from any obligation toward the winner.
•  Foodsmiths reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend this contest at any time without liability to any contestant.
•  All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by Foodsmiths solely for the purposes of administering this contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without express consent.
•  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries that are submitted by 5pm, Sunday, June 8, 2025.
