Golden Morning Muffins

No wheat, no sugar, anti-inflammatory Golden Morning muffin has fresh ginger and organic turmeric, and cooks in the microwave!

  • 1 firm banana, mashed well
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon oil - try coconut, olive, peanut, sunflower, safflower, or your favourite oil

Mix well

  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger, preferably organic
  • 3 tablespoons bean flour
  • 1 teaspoon alum free baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cha's Organic Ground Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cha's Organic Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Buttermilk powder
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Mix well

Microwave on high about 2 minutes, or until centre of batter is firm. Allow to cool, slice and enjoy. This is a great mix and match recipe, so try variations like hulled hemp seeds, cranberries, coconut, lemon zest, dried blueberries or a few fresh berries.
