Christmas appetizer - fun to make and fun to eat!
Holiday Puff Pastry

Another easy-to-make appetizer for your busy holiday season. You can make these ahead of time and freeze. Just bake from frozen when you need them.
Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed and rolled a little thinner

cookie cutter, holiday shaped if you have them but round is fine

1/3- 1/2 c spreadable cream cheese

2 tbsp crumbled feta

1-2 tbsp chopped parsley

red pepper jelly

1 egg well beaten
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°. After rolling the puff pastry a bit thinner, use the cookie cutter. Place the shapes onto a parchment paper lined baking tray.
Mix the cream cheese, feta and parsley. Place a small amount in the center of half of the cut pastry. Top with a little red pepper jelly.
Place another pastry shape on top. Use a fork and press the edges together.
Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Recipe Note
If baking from frozen, bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
