This is the recipe for Italian Plum Cake, just using Nectarines instead.

Ingredients

1 c. flour

½ c. almond meal (ground almonds)

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ c. butter

½ c. sugar

½ c. brown sugar

2 eggs
-
1 tsp orange or lemon zest
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
3-4 nectarines or peaches, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9” pan with parchment paper.
Whisk dry ingredients together. Mix butter and sugars about 4 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, add zest and vanilla. Mix for 3 minutes. Add dry ingredients, mix just until combined. Place into pan and spread evenly. Place sliced fruit on top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a tester comes out clean. Remove and cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Slice and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
