I love when Ontario nectarines, peaches, plums and apricots start to appear on our shelves. I end up with so many that I can barely keep up with ways to eat them quickly. I always have fruit with my lunch, so sweet and juicy who needs dessert?But, I love making desserts with them as well!
I have special visitors this week and an especially helpful assistant! We made a simple cake to showcase the amazing local and Ontario berries. It earned a happy food dance from Simon.
