Pecan Cherry Shortbread

Yummy shortbread rounds make for a great dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pecan pieces
- 1/2 cup dried tart cherries, shopped
Directions
Cream together butter and icing sugar
Mix in flour and salt until blended
Stir in pecans and cherries
Roll into balls, about 2 tbsp
Flatten balls
Place on parchment lined cookie sheet
Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes
