The All-Canadian Fizz

by Arawn Garbutt

Arawn is a 10 year veteran of the bartending scene in Toronto, and fully enjoyed coming up with this very simple recipe featuring Canadian products that can be enjoyed by everyone in the family. "The execution of this drink is as important as the ingredients!" he stressed "Always make the all-Canadian Fizz fresh, because sparkling wine can lose its bubbles fairly quickly. As well, rimming the glass with lime gives the fresh, citrus nose when you raise the glass."

Fill a glass fully with ice. Rim the glass with fresh lime/lemon zest (rub the zest over the rim of the glass). For a multi level look, add 2 oz Black River pure cranberry juice, or 1-1/2 oz Black River pure cherry juice. Gently pour in 5 - 7 oz St. Regis Non-Alcoholic Brut. Garnish with lime/lemon zest.

For a fully red look, just reverse the ingredients. Pour in St. Regis Non-Alcoholic Brut first, then add the Black River juice of your choice. Garnish and enjoy!
