A Valentine pastry that could be for breakfast or a tasty dessert.
Ingredients

1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

8 tsp spreadable cream cheese

8 tbsp of your favourite red jam, strawberry or raspberry

1 egg, beaten

sugar for topping
Directions
Cut the sheet of puff pastry into 8 rectangles. Cut a small heart out on the top of each piece. Spread the cream cheese over the bottom half of the rectangle and top with the jam. Brush the outside edges with the egg, fold over and use a fork to seal the edges. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Brush the top with more beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar for a crunchy texture.
Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Drizzle with melted chocolate, dust with icing sugar or leave plain.
