A healthy body is in balance

Mineral Balance, Hormonal Balance, Acid-Base Balance.
Conditions like Gout, Tendonitis, Bursitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Osteoporosis, Arthritis and other chronic inflammatory conditions are commonly connected to high systemic acidity (HSA).
Infertility, Depression, Anxiety, Fibromyalgia, CFS, Allergies, skin problems like Rosacea, Eczema and Psoriasis are also conditions triggered and fuelled by HSA.
HSA adversely affects the white blood cells which form our immune system. This predisposes the body to infections as the immune system is inhibited and the acidic milleau favours bacteria and viruses.
Common chronic, infectious conditions associated with high systemic acidity are Sinusitis, Bronchitis, Candidasis, Urinary Tract Infections, viral infections like Epstein Barr virus, Herpes and Lyme disease. These infections often recur even after prolonged treatment with antibiotics unless the acid base imbalance is corrected.
Every cancer starts out as an inflammation in a tissue of high acidity and cancerous cells thrive in an acidic environment.
Stress and diet are the biggest culprits in generating acidity. Our bodies have to work hard to maintain a constant blood pH, using mostly its bicarbonate buffering system. Alkalizing your system reduces the acidic deposits and thus inflammation, but also makes you more stress tolerant by building up the body's buffering capacity.
Alkapure alkalizes the body using bi-carbonate and dibasic phosphate salts, thus replenishing the body's two important buffering systems at the same time.
Alkapure is made calcium free to not further the calcium overload individuals experience on the typical western diet, when following standard supplemental recommendations for calcium. It contains balanced amounts of Sodium and Potassium, thus being "kidney neutral."
AlkaPure should be taken away from food and dosed based on urinary/salivary pH testing. Salivary pH reflects the tissue pH more closely, while Urinary pH presents a closer look into excretion.
Measure your pH for three consecutive days: in the morning around 10 am and in the afternoon around 3pm. It is normal to be slightly acidic in the morning, as long as you turn alkaline (pH > 7) during the day.
Most of us with stressful lifestyles tend to linger at a pH of 5.5 to 6.5 all day, preventing proper enzyme function and detoxification, thus promoting inflammation.
Start with 2 capsules two to three times a day, taken around 10 am and 3 pm and at bedtime, always away from food. Continue until first morning tests start to rise to a pH of just below 7. Then reduce the dose to 1 or 2 capsules twice daily and monitor regularly.
