Foodsmiths Cooking Instructions: Bulk Soups


Beef Soup Base                                                                 

Directions: Add 1 cup Beef Soup Base into 8 cups Cold Water.  Heat while stirring until base is dissolved.  Add other ingredients, as desired.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, sugar, salt, hydrolyzed plant protein, canola oil, onion powder, caramel.

Chicken Soup Base                                                          

Directions: Add 1 cup Chicken Soup Base into 8 cups Cold Water.  Heat while stirring until soup base is dissolved.  Add other ingredients as desired.

Yields: 8 cups

Ingredients: Corn flour, sugar, salt, wheat flour, canola oil, onion powder, herbs, spices.

French Onion Soup Base                                    

Directions: Add 1 cup French Onion Soup Base into 8 cups Cold Water.  Heat while stirring until base is dissolved.  Add other ingredients, as desired.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, onion flakes, sugar, salt, hydrolyzed plant protein, vegetable oil, onion powder, caramel, natural beef flavour.

Vegetable Soup Base                                           

Directions: Mix 1 cup Soup Base into 8 cups Cold Water.  Heat while stirring, until base is dissolved.  Add other ingredients as desired.

Ingredients: Corn meal, sugar, salt, wheat flour, canola oil, onion powder, herbs, spices, caramel colour.

NO MSG OR ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS

Soup Mix                                                                               

Directions: Add 1 cup soup mix to 6 cups water.  Bring to a boil for 10 minutes.  Simmer covered for 1-1½ hours. Season soup as desired.  Great with Soup base and vegetable of choice..

Ingredients: Yellow split peas, pot barley, green split peas, rice pasta, navy beans, baby lima beans, red kidney beans, green lentils, pinto beans, red lentils.
