These are perfect for Valentine's Day
Brownies with Ganache and Strawberries

Ingredients

¾ c. flour

⅔ c. cocoa powder

1 c. sugar

¾ tsp salt

2 eggs

½ c. mild oil (I used grapeseed) or coconut oil

2 tbsp water or coffee
-
½ tsp vanilla

¼ cup whipping cream

½ cup chopped semi sweet chocolate

Directions
Brownies
Sift the flour and cocoa powder into a bowl. Add the sugar and salt.
Whisk together the eggs, oil, water and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients, stir just until combined. Place into a parchment lined 9x9" pan.
Bake at 325° for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool. Lift out of the pan and using a heart shaped cutter, cut as many pieces as needed.
Ganache
Heat the cream until quite warm, but don't let it boil. Add the chocolate and stir until melted, smooth and glossy. Pour or spread over the brownies. You can cover just the top, or the sides also.
Strawberries
Wash and dry as many berries as needed. Cut in half, and trim to resemble a heart. Place on top of the brownie hearts.
