Mexican Green Beans

I found this recipe a perfect compliment to my meal. The tomatoes paired with the green beans was delicious, and nothing beats the freshness of Ontario vegetables.
Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

8-10 cherry tomatoes, halved

¼ c diced red onion

1 garlic clove, minced

2 bay leaves
-
1 lb green beans
-
1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped

¼ - ½ tsp ground cumin
-
2 tbsp water
-
salt and pepper
Directions
Heat oil, add onion, tomatoes, garlic and bay leaves. Cook until the onion is soft. Add water, beans, oregano and cumin. Stir, cover and cook for about 4 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
