Ontario produce season is the best time of year. Hard to not fill your fridge with all the great selection.
I decided to combine blackberries and nectarines into a crisp using the topping recipe from my Mom's Apple Crisp. Always a family favourite.
Directions
Combine in a bowl until crumbly. Set aside.
Combine the nectarines, sugar and cornstarch.
Mix and place into a baking dish or individual ramekins.
Press the blackberries into the nectarines.
Top with the crumb mixture.
Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling and the crumbs are golden.
