A favourite recipe from our archives! The Indian name for these cookies is Nankhatai. A different take on shortbreads, and really good!

These bars are a little tart, a little sweet and definitely a nice shortbread combination. Less fuss than rolling and cutting out cookies.

With the cold weather we have switched from grilling to stir frying, which is a cooking activity we enjoy together: I prep and my husband stir fries to perfection. This recipe adapts well to beef, chicken or tofu.

This cake starts out with the rich blueberry sauce on the top, which sinks to the bottom as the cake bakes, and turns into a moist, yummy dessert. Delicious on its own, but also good with a dollop of ice cream or whipped cream.
