Simple dessert for any cookout, family BBQ, or anytime you are craving something sweet but don't want the carbs or calories.

This Strawberry Pie is the perfect dessert for your Canada Day celebrations. I prefer using the fruit based glaze which works as well as a gelatin based one. If you're pressed for time, use a frozen pie crust from our freezer. I made my pie crust in a tart pan. You can also divide the strawberries up into tart shells.

When the Ontario strawberries arrived last week I could not wait to buy some for a weekend dessert. This recipe is a cross between a pudding and a cake. Moist, not too sweet and full of flavour. Best served warm, great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
