With the cold weather we have switched from grilling to stir frying, which is a cooking activity we enjoy together: I prep and my husband stir fries to perfection. This recipe adapts well to beef, chicken or tofu.
This cake starts out with the rich blueberry sauce on the top, which sinks to the bottom as the cake bakes, and turns into a moist, yummy dessert. Delicious on its own, but also good with a dollop of ice cream or whipped cream.
A warming, satisfying soup for a cool fall evening. It freezes well, just keep in mind the soup may need to be puréed again after thawing. Serve with a swirl of sour cream or a sprinkle of feta cheese for a little extra pizzazz.
