I am sure we all have leftovers and are trying to think of ways to use them up. Turkey soup or turkey pot pie are two of my favourites.

One of my favourite squash is the Honeynut/Butternut. It has a sweet almost creamy texture and is a great addition to this salad.

A filling, savoury tart that would be a great appetizer for Thanksgiving, or a good meal option with a salad. 

This is a light, crisp salad that is a great side with grilled shrimp or chicken. I am serving it tonight with Chili Crisp Chicken Skewers. The Chili Crisp recipe is  on our website that I made previously with shrimp.

Whether you have a garden or are buying produce available now these are two side dishes that are great served with your choice of grilled protein.
