This is a great side dish with grilled chicken, steak or shrimp. If you would like to keep it meat free you could add some chickpeas or fresh mozzarella for some protein.
Za'atar is a middle eastern spice blend. You can buy it ready made or make it yourself. It's a great seasoning on chicken or flatbread and used in salads as well. This recipe is not an authentic one but can be used if you cannot find it ready made.
