Ontario produce season is the best time of year. Hard to not fill your fridge with all the great selection.
I decided to combine blackberries and nectarines into a crisp using the topping recipe from my Mom's Apple Crisp. Always a family favourite.
This is an easy to make salad, perfect to take to a potluck. It's filling enough for dinner, hopefully some leftovers for lunch the next day. If you like it spicier a little hot sauce can be added.
I love peaches in a savoury recipe, great on an arugula salad, or skewered with halloumi and red onion like in this recipe, which by the way was just fabulous-tasting.
